We developed a sustainability awareness campaign strategy aimed at increasing awareness and engagement of Panasonic’s sustainability solutions in the UK and German markets.
Challenge
Panasonic suffered from a lack of recognition for its sustainability solutions, from storage batteries to heat pumps, it lagged behind key competitors. The brand was better known for its consumer electronics and needed a new message to reach its audience. We needed to connect the Panasonic brand intuitively to the topic of climate solutions, and get it recognised for tangible solutions, societal contribution and inspiration as well as assurance.
Solution
Our campaign objective was to increase awareness and engagement around Panasonic Europe’s sustainability efforts in the UK and Germany, positioning the brand as a leader in sustainable technology. For our key target audience of ‘decision-makers’, we wanted to help them solve three challenges: sustainability faces rising costs and fear of backlash, climate action needs to deliver business value and sustainability innovation needs to be practical.
We focused on Panasonic’s technologies designed to reduce carbon emissions, lower energy use and build long-term resilience, and positioned the company as a partner in making smart, future-ready decisions.
Impact
We developed an exciting new positioning, campaign proposition, and audience messaging, that formed the basis of a new campaign strategy. This is being developed by Panasonic’s creative team into a consumer facing campaign, launching soon. Watch this space.
